On the 23^rd May 2022, the Rally brought together Comrades from the Niger Delta under the Peoples AGM Platform hosted by ANEEJ to hold Shell accountable for destroying our lands, means of livelihoods and to stop shell from carrying out their new divestment strategy.

Our key ask are as follows : Limit Global Warning to 1.5’C, We demand a just energy transition , No to Carbon Emission , No to Shell’s energy transition Strategy , Align strategy with Paris Agreement , The People’ s Vote is a No, No to Global Warning , No to Fossil fuel expansion, no to environmental degradation,  no to destruction of livelihoods , No to Gas Faring , we urge the Church of England , other investors to withdraw their  moral support for Shell .
